Dear You-Who-Took-My-Phone,

Yes, You. Could you pleaseee return it to me, the LEGAL owner of THAT white blackberry bold? I don't care how or why you took it and I won't even ask any of it when you decided to bring it back. Although I'm not a fan of that RIM's product (thus I actually quite thankful 'it' happened), but it contains important contacts and notes and MY personal info. Fyi, taking someone's belonging without permission is called THEFT and the doer is called THIEF. According to this fact, you commited a sin. In Ramadhan.

So, when will you give it back to me?

From House to Coldplay

It's quite a while since I blogged. Told you in the last post that I was assigned to another city by my employer. Not to worry, by next week I'll be back to Jakarta and will have one whole week of holiday :D Anyway, I'll skip this work-related-story for the next post (maybe?) so let's just take a peek at my fave boys.

1. Hugh Laurie

My most fave male lead actor in all tv series that I watched so far. Thus, made me love the drama itself. He Acted as Dr. Gregory House in House. House is a genius-yet-sarcastic doctor who run the diagnostic department at Princeton Hospital. If you haven't watch it, much less heard of it, pleaseee start to buy the DVD. It's an awesome series,yet it ended at season 8 not long a go. Not only an actor, Hugh is also a writer of The Gun Seller. He played some instruments, and he's British! (which is surprising if you refer to his absolutely-american-accent at House)

2. Patrick Adams

Knew him from Suits, a US TV series. He played as Mike Ross, an associate at Pearson Hardman (law firm) who "graduated" from Harvard and has a photographic memory. For that, he was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series. He looks good in suit ;) (Credit to Rani who had introduced me to the series).

3. Chris Martin

The lead vocal of the great british band, Coldplay. He's a vegan and here's what I love: he has this unique voice when he's singing that I could identify him almost instantly. Besides, no matter how beat his songs, I usually find it mellow in the end. He wrote many of Coldplay songs. I'm addicted already after listening Yellow. He's so much alive on stage. He would jump from one side to the others and actually conversed with the Coldplayers and made witty remarks. Their gigs are one of the best in the world. Try to watch it on youtube. Wish I go to their Mylo Xyloto Tour and wear the Xyloband *finger crossed*

Ten Phrases

My little game with my friend. Found it on a blog while browsing(sorry I forgot the blog). We decided to make a bet: whoever not doing it till 12 pm will have to treat both of us J.CO. We started it around 7. The rule is we had to make a story from those ten bold phrases. So here you go:

Hanya sebuah kartu nama biasa. Tak ada yang berbeda. Bahkan aku tak akan memungutnya kalau saja disana tidak tertera itu. Bukan karena jabatan sang pemilik sebagai manajer band ternama di negeri ini. Tetapi rangkaian huruf yang berada tepat di bawahnya lah yang menghentikan langkahku di tengah keramaian bandara. Disana, diukir dengan font Calibri, sebuah nama yang kutahu pasti dengan segenap hatiku. Sepuluh tahun, inikah saatnya?

Segera kucari seseorang dengan sosok seperti tiang bendera tadi. Kurasakan adrenalin mengalir deras di tubuhku, hasil dari langkah tergesa dan rasa penasaran yang tinggi. Mengingatkanku pada rasa yang sama saat melakukan terjun payung dulu. Namun, nihil. Dia tak dapat kutemukan.

Panggilan terakhir untuk penerbanganku membuatku menghentikan pencarian. Kutarik napas panjang untuk menenangkan debaran keras jantung ini. Kuletakkan plastik belanjaan yang berisi titipan saudara, seorang kolektor topi, ke dalam bagai sebelum duduk di kursi pesawat. Kulayangkan pandangan ke luar jendela dan seketika terbayang notasi lagu yang terasa familier. Tanpa kusadari, mulutku ikut bersenandung kecil mengikutinya. Kawanan Capung. Aku yakin itu judulnya, pikirku sambil tersenyum. Seseorang di masa lalu pernah mengajarkannya.

Sebuah surat kabar yang terjatuh di atas pangkuanku segera membuyarkan lamunan.

"Ah, es tut mir leid"

Kuangkat kepalaku dan segera kutemukan sepasang mata yang mengingatkanku pada kolam renang di belakang rumah. Biru dan jernih. Aku terpaku. Saat akhirnya tersadar, dia telah duduk di sampingku.

"Ich vermisse sie, El"

We'll eventually Adapt

It's been one week and one month since I settled in this big three city. How could I've end up here, to the faraway island from my home, while all my friends got their next just-one-flight-from-home office of OJT? Have no idea. Must be something to do with my non-specific prayer. Something around the line "...the best for me".

So here I am, stuck for the next 3 months in a strange city, with its strange language, and strange food that still need a further inspection because it tends to have a tiny little bomb hiding somewhere.

I couldn't complain much since nothing good will come out of it. That's why I choose to do my best to like this city: exploring malls.

Hal-hal kecil yang...

...bikin stress :
- kantong belanjaan favorit saya dijadiin penyimpanan barang-barang ga penting sampe bentuknya ga karuan
- mendengar kata "ganti" dari mace karena warna jilbab beda 1 level dengan warna bajunya
- liat sebiji nasi di lantai, peninggalan adek

...bikin timbangan turun:
- nyuci sendiri
- makanan harus disiapin sendiri
- senam 3x seminggu jadi 1x seminggu
- mikir panjang tentang hal-hal sepele

Kesimpulan: Harus bisa menyesuaikan diri kembali

Balik ke rumah lagi setelah 4 bulan menjadi warga sementara ibukota.

Eniwei, saya mau ngasih tips fashion ala mace. Tidak, beliau bukan fashionista tapi wejangannya cukup panjang kalo berbicara soal pakaian. Jadi ini dia:

1. Minimalis. Modelnya sederhana, polos atau kotak-kotak biar tidak bosan untuk dilihat.
2. Matching. Mace termasuk orang yang menganut paham matching principle. Kalo bajunya ungu muda, jilbabnya juga harus ungu muda, bukannya ungu tua. Tidak ada istilah colorful: bajunya kuning celananya hijau. Matching dalam kamus mace berarti warnanya 99.99% sama.
3. Panjaaanngg. Bagi mace, untuk kasus celana, atasannya harus panjang. Semakin panjang semakin bagus. Kalo mau pake pendek, ya ganti dengan rok.
4. Aksesori. Jam atau gelang sebisa mungkin dipakai. Tak ketinggalan, cincin.

Satnite, and I'm sitting in front of my lappie

Yup, it's satnite. Just finished Hourglass by Myra McEntire. Thick book but interesting. If you like watching Heroes tv series, you may like this novel as well.

Report. No class today. So after english evaluation, we're back to our room, to leha-leha for awhile and then headed to blok M for buying all-black-clothes. We'll go to Magelang next week to be trained by Kopassus. For 1 month. Cool, huh? already scared me to death hahhaha. I hope I really can be discipline and tougher as they said *crossing finger*
